3. Third-Party Services

We use the following services to operate our business. Each has its own privacy policy:

Squarespace

Our website host and online shop. Squarespace processes purchase data and site analytics.

ConvertKit

Our email marketing platform. When you subscribe to our newsletter, your name and email are stored in ConvertKit. ConvertKit does not sell subscriber data.

Teachable

Our online class platform (anne-ward-s-school1.teachable.com). When you enroll in a class, Teachable processes your registration and payment information.

Meta (Facebook / Instagram)

We may use the Meta Pixel and Meta's advertising tools on our website to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show relevant ads to people who have visited our site. The Meta Pixel collects data such as pages visited, actions taken (such as purchases), and your IP address, and sends this information to Meta. This is considered 'sharing' of personal information under California law.

California residents: you have the right to opt out of this data sharing. See Section 6 for how to exercise your rights.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:

Essential cookies

Required for the site to function (shopping cart, login sessions). Cannot be disabled.

Analytics cookies

Used by Squarespace to understand how visitors use our site (pages visited, time on site). This data is aggregated and not used to identify individuals.

Advertising / tracking cookies (Meta Pixel)

If you have consented, or if you have not opted out, the Meta Pixel may fire when you visit our site and send data to Meta about your visit. This data is used to measure ad performance and to show you relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram. California residents may opt out of this — see Section 6.

To manage your cookie preferences, you can adjust your browser settings or use the opt-out method described in Section 6.

5. Do We Sell Your Data?

We do not sell your personal information for money. However, under California law (CCPA/CPRA), sharing personal information with advertising platforms like Meta for cross-context behavioral advertising may be considered a 'sale or sharing' of data. We disclose this use in this policy and provide you the right to opt out.
